Reliable Turnaround

Clinical reports are typically delivered within 2–3 weeks of the final assessment session. Medico-legal and specialised reports within 10–15 business days of evaluation completion and receipt of all materials. We communicate proactively if delays are anticipated.

Reports Written for Their Audience

Whether the report is for a GP, a tribunal, an NDIS planner, or a court, findings are presented in the language and format suited to that reader. Diagnostic assessments include actionable recommendations. Medico-legal reports address the instructed questions directly.

Responsive Communication

Referrers can contact us directly by phone, email, or fax. We respond to referral enquiries promptly, confirm receipt of materials, and are available to discuss the scope of a referral before it is submitted.

AHPRA-Registered Clinician

All assessments are conducted by an AHPRA-registered psychologist holding postgraduate qualifications who have training in psychological assessment. Registration is publicly verifiable via the AHPRA register.

How to Refer

Send a Referral

Forward a referral letter with relevant background documentation by email, fax, or via our online enquiry form. Please include the assessment type and any specific questions to be addressed.

Receive Confirmation

We will review the referral and contact you or the client to confirm suitability, provide a fee quote where applicable, and arrange scheduling. Medico-legal matters receive a written quote before scheduling proceeds.

Assessment & Report

The assessment is conducted and a written report prepared. Clinical reports are typically available within 2–3 weeks of the final session. Medico-legal reports: 10–15 business days from receipt of all materials.

Referral Pathways

GPs & Treating Clinicians

GPs · psychiatrists · paediatricians · allied health

Please include in your referral

  • Referral letter outlining the presenting concern and reason for assessment
  • Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) if a Medicare rebate is sought
  • Relevant medical or clinical history, including current medications
  • Any prior psychological, educational, or medical reports

Fees & Billing

Fees are payable by the client. A Medicare rebate may be available with a valid MHCP referral. Fee information is provided at the time of booking.

Turnaround

2–3 weeks from completion of assessment sessions.

Legal Practitioners & Insurers

Solicitors · barristers · WorkCover QLD · CTP/MAIC · TPD/income protection insurers

Please include in your referral

  • Letter of instruction specifying the questions to be addressed
  • All relevant file materials: medical records, prior reports, claim documentation
  • Claimant details and matter reference (file/claim number, relevant dates)
  • Confirmation of costs agreement and billing arrangements

Fees & Billing

Medico-legal reports are quoted individually and billed at a specialised hourly rate. GST applies. A written quote is provided before scheduling.

Turnaround

10–15 business days from the later of evaluation completion and receipt of all instructing materials, subject to capacity.

NDIS Support Coordinators & Plan Managers

Support coordinators · plan managers · LACs · self-managing participants

Please include in your referral

  • Current NDIS plan confirming allocated funding under Improved Daily Living (Support Category 15)
  • Referral letter or service request from the participant, coordinator, or plan manager
  • Funding management type: NDIA-managed, plan-managed, or self-managed
  • Any prior reports relevant to the referral question

Fees & Billing

NDIS-funded assessments are billed at the applicable NDIS Price Guide rate. A service agreement is required prior to scheduling.

Turnaround

2–3 weeks from completion of assessment sessions.

WorkCover Queensland

WorkCover QLD case managers · approved insurers

Please include in your referral

  • Valid WorkCover Queensland claim number
  • Written referral or approval from the insurer or case manager
  • Treating practitioner referral letter (where required by the insurer)
  • Relevant claim documentation and any prior reports

Fees & Billing

Billed at the applicable WorkCover Queensland schedule fee. No out-of-pocket cost for the worker.

Turnaround

2–3 weeks from completion of assessment sessions.

Department of Veterans' Affairs (DVA)

DVA case managers · rehabilitation providers · treating practitioners

Please include in your referral

  • DVA Gold or White card details, or written DVA prior approval
  • Written referral or approval for the specific service requested
  • Referral letter from the treating GP or specialist
  • Relevant clinical documentation

Fees & Billing

DVA-approved services are billed directly to DVA at the applicable schedule rate. No out-of-pocket cost for eligible veterans.

Turnaround

2–3 weeks from completion of assessment sessions.
